Resource Teacher-Daviess Martin Special Ed Cooperative
SALARY: Based on Master Contract
Locations: DMSEC-Washington Intermediate; Washington Primary, Barr Reeve Elementary
EFFECTIVE DATE: August 2025
CONTRACT LENGTH: Based on Master Contract start date August 2025
REQUIREMENTS:
Hold or be eligible to hold a valid Indiana teacher's license with Special Education certification (Exceptional Needs: Mild Intervention or Intense covering appropriate school setting position).
Quality preparation and/or experiences in teaching Special Education.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Outstanding references.
The ability to relate to students, staff and parents in a positive manner.

A complete Cooperative application for employment;
A copy of a valid Indiana Teaching License/Indiana Certification;
A personal resume;
A Request for Background Information Authorization and Release form.

SALARY: Based on Master Contract
Locations: DMSEC-Washington Intermediate, Washington Upper, AND Washington High School
EFFECTIVE DATE: August 2025
CONTRACT LENGTH: Based on Master Contract start date August 2025
REQUIREMENTS:
Hold or be eligible to hold a valid Indiana teacher's license with Special Education certification (Exceptional Needs: Mild Intervention and Intense covering appropriate school setting position) OR appropriate training in school aged behavior support.
Quality preparation and/or experiences in teaching Special Education.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Outstanding references.

Paraprofessional
SALARY: Competitive wage based on a 5.5 hour work day.
EFFECTIVE DATE: With Board Approval
REQUIREMENTS:
Instructional paraprofessionals employed after January 8, 2002 must either have completed two years of college, or hold a two-year degree, or pass a state or local assessment.
Have knowledge and understanding of:
Human growth and development and the impact of disabilities as related to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
Effective communication skills (oral and written)
