Certified Positions:

SALARY: 24-25 Salary Scale starting at $44,500, tops out at $74,500

(3) Elementary Life Skills Teachers

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must Hold valid Indiana Mild Intervention License, and be willing to add Intense Intervention
• All applications must include the following:

• Interview with building principal and/or Director

(2) Preschool Teachers

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must Hold valid Indiana Special Education License for the Preschool setting
• All applications must include the following:

• Resume with references
• Interview with building principal and/or Director

(2) EH Teachers (1 in Loogootee and 1 in Washington: both Elementary Level)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have at least 3 years of teaching experience and hold a valid Indiana Special Education License

(1) Behavior Coach

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have at least 3 years of teaching experience and hold a valid Indiana Special Education License

(1) School Psychologist 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must Hold valid Indiana License

(1) Speech Pathologist -Elementary

REQUIREMENTS:

Non-Certified Positions:

Paraprofessional

SALARY: Competitive wage based on a 5.5 hour work day.

EFFECTIVE DATE: With Board Approval

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Instructional paraprofessionals employed after January 8, 2002 must either have completed two years of college, or hold a two-year degree, or pass a state or local assessment.
2. Have knowledge and understanding of:
   • Human growth and development and the impact of disabilities as related to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
   • Effective communication skills (oral and written)
3. All applications must include the following:

   • Current employees interested in this position need only provide a written statement of interest to the DMSEC central office.
